D Cell Switch Replaces the D size switch for MAG-LITES® which do not have a letter D in front of the serial number. Replacing this switch will require the Spanner and Hexagon tools. Switch Replacement Instructions

The Spanner Wrench Tool is required to change a C or D switch. On each end of the tool there are protruding metal studs that fit either the C or D retaining ring. Changing a D size MAG-LITE® with a D in front of the serial number will not require this tool.

Hexagon Wrench Tool Required to change all D size switches. The Hexagon Tool is inserted through the center of the switch to loosen or tighten the set screw which holds the switch securely in place.
