The Ethafoam core extends the flashlight at a distance to clear the side of the dive mask, and is tapered to shine the flashlight in your direct line of sight. Most importantly, the Ethafoam core is buoyant, and once the system is submerged, the buoyancy offsets the weight of the mini flashlight to provide a virtually weightless free hands lighting system. 

The adjustable straps provide compatibility to most shapes and sizes of mini flashlights. For optimum performance, use flashlights powered by either two AAA, AA, or L123 batteries. This weight is best matched with the buoyant force of the Ethafoam core.
